In the beautiful area of Axum, in the north of Ethiopia, a parcel is placed at Alay Hagos' disposal by the local authorities. The parcel is directly adjoined to the ancient tombs of Kaleb. The plan is to develop an eco-village with botanical garden next to this popular touristic attraction. The site lies on the edge of an hill with a great view on Axum and its hinterland. The rocky plateau will be provided with a natural water management system to advance plants to grow. In the Botanical garden vegetables, spices and fruit will be cultivated. The harvest will be cooked traditionally in the restaurant. There will be spread over the site about 40 lodges, 10 hotel rooms, a traditional restaurant, a conference hall, a swimming pool and sport places. In the Botanical garden between the plants a mini golf is planned with a fantastic view.
